Tuesday, September 27, 2016 Make and Take – Members Only

Want to express you artistic talent or find out you do have this?

Want to create something uniquely your own to display in your garden? or to give that special person?

Join other members in a hypertufa workshop – the technique of combining cement, perlite, water (and other materials) to form structures that are lighter weight than concrete and easy to shape. Click on links below: hypertufa-005

By taking a workshop with an experienced teacher, you get a “tried and true” hypertufa recipe that works.  If you make it too thin or thick,  or have difficulties with the technique, the teacher is present to guide you through the process.  And, you leave with a finished product.  With the basic technique mastered, you will be ready to try sculptures, nature objects and other garden art, as shown on the Pinterest hypertufa web site. : https://www.pinterest.com/dhypertufa/diy-hypertufa-garden-art/
