Tanya LaCorte will share her knowledge about when and how to divide and transplant garden perennials. She will also demonstrate plant division techniques.

Tanya has worked for Reems Creek Nursery for the past 10 years and specializes in perennials. She started gardening on her grandparents’ farm in Ireland and has been an avid gardener since age 5.

At the first meeting of our new season, five of the hosts/owners of the outstanding gardens on our June 29th Weaverville Gardens Galore Tour will share their gardening wisdom and insights about their gardens.

A sampling of topics includes:

Specific aspects of the development of their gardens
Challenges and opportunities they faced in transforming their spaces
Why they chose their particular garden style or theme
Unique garden features
Garden development and maintenance insights
